Introduction:

The RTL-SDR Blog V4 is a software-defined radio receiver featuring an RTL2832U ADC chip, R828D tuner, 1PPM TCXO, SMA F connector, and aluminum casing with passive cooling. It tunes from 500 kHz to 1.7 GHz with up to 3.2 MHz bandwidth (2.4 MHz stable). Compatible with Windows, OSX, Linux, Android, and Raspberry Pi, it works with free software like SDR#, HDSDR, and GQRX.

Ideal for radio scanning, ADS-B, air traffic control, public safety, weather satellites, ham radio, and more. Includes a multi-purpose dipole antenna kit with short antennas for ADS-B, long antennas for low frequencies, and V-dipole configuration for 137 MHz weather satellites. The antenna kit is easy to mount outdoors with two mounts and a 3m RG174 cable.

This model features several upgrades: improved R828D tuner, enhanced filtering, low-noise PCB, ESD protection, SMA F connector, and software-activatable bias-tee for LNAs and active antennas. It supports HF reception down to 500 kHz with a built-in upconverter and 28.8 MHz low-pass filter.
